How we handleyour data
A short, honest note on what By Design with Dami collects when you take The By Design Audit — and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you take the audit and submit your email:
- Your email address. Submitted by you on the result page.
- Your audit answers. Used to identify your archetype and drift scores. Stored alongside your email so we can tailor what we send you.
- Your archetype and dimension scores. Computed from your answers. Stored as tags on your subscriber record.
- The date and time you submitted. Stored for our records.
We don't collect your name, your IP address, your location, or anything else.
What we do with it
We use your email to send you:
- Your audit result. Immediately after you submit.
- A short follow-up series. Three more emails over the week following your audit, going deeper on what your result revealed.
- The By Design newsletter. Occasional notes from Dami on intentional design, work, life, and what we're learning. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
We may use your archetype tag to make the newsletter more relevant to you — for example, a note specifically for people who scored as Drifters. We never share who you are with anyone.
Who else sees your data
We use two external services to make the audit work. Each sees only what it needs to:
- Lovable hosts the audit itself and stores your submission briefly to send you the result email.
- Kit (ConvertKit) stores your email and subscriber data, and sends you the result email, follow-up series, and newsletter.
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it for anything outside what's described above.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- Unsubscribe from any email we send, anytime. The link is at the bottom of every email.
- Ask us to delete your data. Email hello@bydesignwithdami.com and we'll remove your record from Kit within 30 days.
- Ask us what we have on you. Same address. We'll send you everything we have.
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. The same email address handles those requests.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and note the change at the top. You're reading version 1, dated June 01, 2026.
