STEP 02 · TRADE-OFFS

Every yes is a no to something else.

Trade-offs aren't a sign of scarcity. They're a sign you've grown up about how choices actually work.

Every choice takes something and gives something. Time. Energy. Money. Attention. Optionality. When you don't name the trade, you still pay it. You just pay it unconsciously, later, and usually with interest.

Naming the trade doesn't make the decision harder. It makes it honest. And honest decisions are the only kind you can defend to yourself six months from now.

The Weekly Edit lives here. Must, Should, Could, Won't isn't a productivity trick. It's a way of making the trade-offs visible, before your calendar and your inbox make them for you.
